Your goal is good. Keep in mind, however, that the MBA program was designed primarily for people with bachelors degrees in fields other than business. It was created because engineers were promoted into management positions and did not know how to manage, while people with business degrees promoted to management positions were not able to communicate with engineers or did not understand what the engineers were doing. I have taught MBA students who were lawyers, dentists, musicians, historians, psychologists, accountants, and others. A seminary student with an MBA can do wonders for managing a religious organization or church. A physician with an MBA can be a great asset managing a hospital. Each one brings special talents to the classroom and subsequently to the job they get as MBA graduates.
Your goal in whatever undergraduate area you choose is to get the best grades possible, so that you can get into a quality MBA program. Consult the Official MBA Guide for more information. It’s a great free service.

Most of the challenges I’ve faced, are financial. For example, trying to pay for tuition without taking out loans, or working full time, and carrying a full course load. Other than that, the subject matter is pretty easy, so long as you read the textbooks.
